It's alright to cry, crying takes the sad out of you. [More:]Between Sesame Street and Free to Be You and Me, this guy had a profound effect on my childhood. And I never knew anything about him. Thanks, Mr. Hart.
Free to Be made me what I am today, I'm sure of it.

I can still recite "Atalanta." And we made the theme song into an anthem at my ol' summer camp.

When I grow up, I'm gonna be happy,
And do what I like to do.
Like making noise, and making faces
And making friends like you.

And when we grow up, do you think we'll see
That I still like you, and you still like me.
I might be pretty, you might grow tall,
But we don't have to change at all.

For I am a tender, sweet, young thing!

And of course there was poor old William, who so wanted a doll.

Judy Blume wrote the Pain and the Great One. Both times I tried to watch Sooner or Later, chupahija went off on a manic rage.
