So, what're you doing tonight? →[More:]I'm playing bridge, at my new club (it's an ugly website) with my wonderful new partner. He is nice and patient and a very good player. We decided we would make a good partnership after only playing 6 hands. You have a feel for these things.

Then I am meeting up with mr. g and we are going to our friend's place for birthday drinks (for our friend.) Yay!

Community Radio Editorial Board meeting at 6:00 -- I have to bring up a standards and practices issue, so I'm sure it'll be contentious and fun. Then, skip my workout, head home, eat grilled chicken with tex-mex-y salad, and sit down to work on songs with IRC running in the background. Probably.

There's also a distinct possibility that after the radio meeting, I will walk into the house, toss the keys on the counter, and collapse into bed until morning. Without even changing clothes. I am that tired.

I'll be hacking chunks out of a piece of linoleum in my Printmaking class from 5-8. After that I'll get dinner and spend the rest of the evening finishing reading The Metamorphasis for my Fables & Tales class, then doing some writing based on that. Then I'll play something on my DS, then fall asleep. Wheee.

All I am legally allowed to say about my day is that I rode the subway to Kew Gardens. I also ate lunch, at a Subway (oddly enough). I had a chicken bacon ranch sub with banana peppers and an iced tea. Other stuff happened but I cannot talk about it. I also reread Ladies Man in toto. I'm rereading books I know I like because I don't want to risk being trapped in a courthouse with a bad book. Yesterday I read Chuck Klosterman. Maybe tommorow, it'll be Mordecai Richler or David Foster Wallace.

I think you all know me well enough to realize that this is the equivalent of caging a tiger.

Tonight I am going to listen to music, drink a little beer, and chill on MeCha.

the last week has been a flurry of activity, so I will be savoring a night home alone, making dinner (chicken dijon, probably), doing laundry, watching the latest from Netflix (either "Word Wars" or "Hard-Boiled," haven't decided yet), and -- woo! -- anticipating the Kids in the Hall reunion tomorrow night that I was lucky enough to score tickets for (via boyfriend's writing partner, who's producing the show).
