The Angels (60's girl group version)
Johnny Winter (half-assed Cajun extremely whiteboy [as in albino] blues version)
Mongo Santamaria (salsa version)
Black Flag (hardcore punk)
Friar Tuck & his Psychedelic Guitar (60's weirdness that beggars description)
Richard Berry & the Pharaohs (original R&B, although he boosted the riff from an old sals song called 'Loca Cha Cha,' which I've heard, and yes it's there, the duh duh duh. This song was banged out on rocks by cavemen, I think. It's the ur-song)

IIRC The Sisters of Mercy did a version of Louie, Louie. It was pretty bad.

I saw/heard it performed by people dressed as barnyard animals years ago in Branson. I'd say that I wished I had an mp3 but only an avi would do it justice anyway.
