so, just as an addendum: amro wasn't playing, amro was for real; neither jelly nor wimpdork are bots, jimbobobbobbobb was kidding; it turned out my lunch money was in my sock; irc really did hold up arsey, but only because he was falling down... P_G may be getting some in the near future, some other people in major American cities are having way more fun than us, some metachatters have found that they may be nearly-next-door neighbors, and we have a really cool new member, who is kind of shy. Also, I love mosch. (just thrown in for no particular reason)

it is very easy to look at hostnames and see if nicks are registered in irc. much easier than paranoia and fretting. looked to me like nothing unusual other than dios and brainwidth blathering endlessly on some possibly faux legal discussion, perhaps because someone objected to perceived "diahrea" before i got there? i dunno. but i suspect this is all a self-fulfilling porpoisity. <-- ha ha i slay myself
