What's worse is apparently you and I are the only people in America who are watching the Olympics instead of American Idol. Although that music for the compulsory ice dancing DID make me slap on the mute button.

They really are sucking, i think, and the schmaltzy profile things are horrendous and way too cheesy. It is hysterical tho, to see olympic athletes say "gnarly". I think they're purposely showing more of the snowboarding and other x-game stuff, but it's failing---gimme curling and other weird things anyday

Did you see it the other night when that Chinese woman had a really horrible fall, her knee kind of splayed out, and then after a break she and her partner carried on and won the silver? Incredible.

(And I'm ashamed to say, but I absolutely love American Idol and am sad that, being in England, I can't vote for Taylor Hicks, who is probably the only original in the bunch.

Well, the snowboarders are both amazing to watch and funny for a listen. And of course I wrote the other message before Lindsey Jacobellis acted like a 20 year old kid having fun and biffed the gold medal. That was freakin' dobe.

DHTML Lemmings.

I found Sandman to be frustrating because I couldn't stop the dudes. I'm a frickin' Sandman! You'd think I could put one of them to sleep so that he blocks the others for a bit. That and the fact that it takes a half hour to scroll; by the time I got from one end of the board to the other and back, all my dudes were dead.

jan, i can't stand American Idol--it's one of the meanest shows on TV.

sprinkling them makes them reverse direction and slowdown, Eid, buying you time.
