Ah, neocons in love.

Don't we all like to be treated like property sometimes, at least a little bit?

I once had a woman build a house on me and lease it out for a year... just for kicks.

Well, I know I enjoy getting my lawn mowed, but I'm glad someone else pays the taxes.

"combusting happiness within me"?

Ah, mullacc, you've spotted the reference to that other great Randian analogy, the internal combustion engine. With a bit of land, a car with a humming engine, and a pack of cigarettes, you'd be just about the perfect Randian.

I like that he thought it was a compliment at first, like its a good thing to be treated as something you own rather than someone you love.

No wonder the world is so very badly screwed up.

No wonder Libertarians are so screwed up: they reduce all relationships (social, political, legal, etc. ad nauseum) to property and then wonder why everybody regards them as simpleminded privileged dolts, white supremacists and authoritarians dressed up like anarchists. Sheesh.

warbaby, you missed the ad hominem thread by a few days.

fenriq, et al, I get the impression that he's joking about the "her as property" bit in that article, but I could be wrong.

I told ya the LvM Institute was its own best parody.

I wouldn't assume they are neocons, however. Am I the only person in the world who knows or cares what a "neocon" really is? Oh, right, I am.
