Willie covered Pansy Division? Cool!

Willie's claiming he wrote it himself, a couple of years ago (and so long before the movie came out). Did Pansy Division actually do a song by this title? I just checked out their website and there's no mention of Willie covering one of their tunes...

They did. It was on the album PileUp. Here are the lyrics. Is it the same song?

Yeah. Weird. I saw this story earlier tonight, when it at least heavily implied that Willie wrote it; now it's been re-written to reflect the fact that he didn't. At any rate, the fact that he did it in the first place is pretty cool.

It's actually a pretty good song.

And Willie drops the "F-bomb" right in the middle, which is a little disconcerting.
