AddOne More to the list of Valentines Breakups . Yeah, I'm a single guy, now. But it's amicable. Still kinda sucks, though.

My last girlfriend broke up with me two days after valentines day, after i'd spent all this money on her gave her nice gifts. what did she give me? Dinner. Fucking dinner and a cheese cake. Fucking bitch.

Anyway, that sucks man. Seemed like you had a good thing going from all the mentions of this 'pip'.

Heh. This is the worst part about breaking up. It strikes fear into everyone around you. If it can happen to you, it can happen to them. And in the throes of that fear, people are ill-equipped to be of any real comfort - in fact, they recoil from you ever so slightly out of a mixture of fear and denial (or the desire to deny). Which is why you go through this kind of thing alone, ultimately. Your only real company is someone else who's going through the same thing at the same time, and 99% of the time those fuckers will talk your ear off 1-way until it makes you insane.

Oh Jon. My sympathies are with you.
