The one song that makes me cry every time, even when I'm not drinking, is "the band played Waltzing Matilda" by the Pogues. See jon, if you listened to more Pogues, you could stay on the wagon AND cry over your music :)

Why do you suppose all the YSI text ads for "Makes No Difference" were about adult diapers?

Music can make me cry even if I'm at the grocery store, no drinking necessary. If I can't control my own musical enviroment, I'm potentially a sniffly mess.

I dunno, perhaps because two of the five people performing on it died young of drug related causes? Hell, you hear the anguish in Danko's voice, it's amazing he lasted as long as he did.

Van the Man has several songs that'll tear a man up: 'St. Dominics Preview,' 'Madame George,' among others.

But damn, 'It Makes No Difference' and 'Ol'55' hit you where you live, don't they? Nothing like a hard man sounding vulnerable to make you crumble.
