How 'bout a new Grey's Anatomy thread? So.... why is there a major explosion in a hospital, and there aren't all kinds of emergency personnel in there doing triage and trying to save the bomb squad? I mean, sure the lesbian washing of Meredith fulfilled one of my fantasies, but that was just dumb.

That whole show pisses me off. Bunch of attractive, succesful people with purpose in their careers and intrigue in their personal lives. I hope they all fucking die.

Yea, it was weird that the guy blew up and they never mentioned him again. I guess it was just because he was clearly dead? Too bad, he's so cute.

The bomb guy's name is Kyle Chandler. He was on Home Front and starred in Early Edition. My wife was sure he'd be a recurring character would become Grey's love interest.

George? Yeah, I love George too. I'm straight as an arrow, but if I wasn't, I'd want to have his babies. Or something like that.

Grey's Anatomy is the crappiest show in the Crap TV Crap-a-Thon.

Somewhere, on a dung-and-fly covered mound, lie effigies of everyone on that show with the piteous harpy wail of the people who did Sideways keening in the background.

Bunch of attractive, succesful people

jon, it's interesting how people can have a different take on the same subject matter. I hate the show because the characters are such fucking losers. I mean, they are all hot, educated, (mostly) privileged and have good to very good careers and yet all they ever do is whine about how burdened they are. Sure they have real problems (eg. the squinty girl's Alzheimer mom) but none of them seem able to find any fun in life other than a brief drunk or fuck.

Cryptical - you're either being highly ironic or just high. That show is CHEEZE FROM A TUBE. The characters do completely random and insane things, the writing sucks donkey rump, and don't even get me started on how realistic it is in portraying how hospitals run.

But to be fair to soap opera writers, my girlfriend has had to deal with two bomb threats recently and a divorced doctor / anesthesiologist at one of the neighboring hospitals was recently upset because a younger nurse had stopped dating him and so he walked out of the operating theater and into the recovery room and slashed her to death. He then walked out to his car, drove to the Detroit river, and injected himself with a drug mixture that left him brain dead. No shortage of strife irl.

I dislike this show. And CSI for that matter. But then again, I watch Gilmore Girls and Scrubs, so don't look to me for any sensible conversations about television.

Next is AWESOME! Oh how I wish I had cable. A few weekends ago some friends and I sat around, ate chips and drank champagne and watched Next. So awesome.
