I'm not a snow-lover, but I'm willing to bet you messed up on your rations, right? You saw all those people at the convenience store fighting like animals for the last pack of D cell batteries and any half-trampled Snickers bars lying on the floor and you might have said to yourself, "Fuck that noise, I'm too cool for this shit"...

Well look who's crying now!

This is the fucking snow belt. It's not about pretty postcard images, it's about making sure you have enough alcohol and munchies to get by as your car gets buried in a snowdrift, then crumpled into a heap by an onrushing snowplow. At least it's not cold enough to make glaciers again...yet, so there'll be the chance to look back and laugh during the warmer months. Grumble grumble...

The snow is coming up here to roost in Portland Town. I have fortified myself with oatmeal.

As soon as the wife gets home, I'll be happy and a snow-watcher. Right now I'm a bit nervous.
