The last.fm radio station player, have you downloaded it? How is it? Any nefariousness in it?
I have downloaded it. It's not nefarious at all.

Everytime you run it, terrorists lace a puppy with cocaine.

But no. No spyware. It's quite nice, actually.

Would these be volunteer puppies... puppies who like cocaine?

They're puppy zealots. They dream of a paradise where every puppy gets seven untouched treats a day.

You know what's kinda funny? Even this basic little program allows you to select your audio output device. But itunes doesn't. Incredible.

Copyrighted music is allowed to reach you for free if it's streamed, radio-style, and last.fm pays their licencing fees.

It works great for me. I especially like the Tag radio thingy.

It's great, of course (I'm the official Last.FM booster around here). The one thing I wish it had was either a browser interface like FoxyTunes (to which I'm addicted) or at the very least a title bar that changes to indicate the track, so I don't have to actually switch over to it.

But the radio "stations" you can access with it are really almost limitless. Personal radio is your stuff, neighbor radio is stuff like your stuff, group radio is stuff the group likes, similar artist radio and artist fan radio are self-explanatory (the latter is a bit broader), and tag radio should be pretty clear too. Try poking around for obscure tags or groups that fit your fancy.
