Sunday afternoon-into-evening at Chez Fris →[More:]I'm ramping up to host another potluck/byob gathering, but I need to know what dates will work best for most people.

As Sundays are my only guaranteed day off, I'm currently looking at February 12th, 19th or 26th. If you have specific questions, I can be reached through gmail by the name frisbee.girl.

It'll be much like the Orphan dinners were: come and go as you please, bring your bad self and something - anything, store bought or homemade - to add to the table. Sit back and enjoy the company. Also, there's a covered side porch area for smoking.

So, those are the general points. Give me some feedback on a date and I'll get the finer details in order.

Frisbee Girl, would this be up in San Francisco or nearby? I might be able to join in but the South Bay would be oh so nice!

And any Sunday is better than this coming Sunday where I'll be running around like a chicken with no head (and not because of the StuporBowl).

Yeah, fenriq, I'm in SF. The Mission to be exact. This Sunday at Chez Fris has already been claimed for a work wine and cheese pairing day, so danger in that conflict.

And best of luck with your project - I'm sure it'll come together in stellar perfection. I heartily advise holding onto your head, however. You'll miss it once it's gone.

We'll be watching the superbowl, in Florida and in Vegas on those dates respectively.

Of course, I'm not in SF to begin with, so it's moot.

Out of curiosity, does everyone realize that the Super Bowl is this Sunday? The 5th.

The Sunday dates we're exploring are the:

12th
19th
26th

Hey Fris - sounds like fun! I'll be out of town for Presidents' Day weekend, which means that I can't make the 19th. Something tells me that I have plans for the 12th, but I can't find anything in my organizer which says so. Otherwise, I'm up for coming by.

I think Mudpuppie's going to be at the Portland meeting on the 18th, so she's probably not be available to come visit you on the 19th.

Quick update: For a number of reasons, I'm taking a step back from the MeCha keyboard, but dinner is still on for whomever would like to join me. Details will be worked out here and I can always be reached at the above mentioned gmail addy.
