I just read this over at Salon about Alito and women's rights, and.... man. I feel like I should go stock up on abortions before I lose all my rights as a human being.
As long as you're white, middle-class or better, employed or independently wealthy, and live in a Blue State, you'll always be able to get an abortion.
And if you're not white, don't have money, or live in the Bible-belt, well, you shouldn't be having non-procreative sex anyway, should you?
I just get so sick of the fact that I've been hearing this for the last 20 years and very little has changed:
"Progressives were strengthened by today's battle.... Each battle over these reactionary Supreme Court nominees is making this massive progressive coalition stronger."
What you view as a human right anti-abortionists view as murder. I'm not anti-abortion but I completely understand why those who are want the practice stopped.
It's hard to stock up on abortions, but it might not be a bad idea to stock up on Plan B while it's still legal, and while you can find a pharmacist who sells it.

There will be plenty of such pharmacists. Just make sure your passport is up to date, and that you have some money in the bank.
Time to start planing abortion clinics along the Canadian and Mexican borders.
I don't believe R vs. W will be overturned I believe it will just be narrowed to ineffectiveness. No morning after pills, if you are under 18 parents permission, the right of the potential father or grandparents to object, the banning of partial birth abortions, the banning of abortion information at any facility receiving government funding (i.e. military, schools many clinics), the banning of abortion in any facility that receives any sort of government funding (i.e. most clinics and hospitals), etc. etc.
Even ignoring many legal issues, it *has* been narrowed down to ineffectiveness. There are huge states in the West and South that have only one or two abortion providers. People often have to travel over 200 miles to find a clinic or doctor, missing work they can't afford to miss and having to account for their absence to parents or partners who may abusive or controlling. Illegal abortions in the US have increased over the past year. All in all? Not good. Because no matter where you stand on abortion, I can't imagine that you'd want scared girls mutilating and killing themselves instead.
