Ringtones that make you sexy? This is just a lame 'viral' site, but I just thought it was funny. I saw some ads on gawker for it.

I find it both frightening (and oddly heartening in a 'let's hear it for free enterprise' sort of way)that ringtone have become such a big business.

I don't own a cell phone and hopefully never will, but if I ever get a ringtone it will be either 'Witch Doctor' or 'Iron Man.'

also, apropos of nothing, I've been entering data on a tejano album for the past thirty minutes. Everythings in Spanish. If you came up behind me right now, I'd probably say '¿Que? ¿Por qué me está molesto?'

Right, that's what I figured, jonmc. But the Sidewinders album is still a good rock record. The Neil Diamond cover, "Solitary Man," tears the pants off most current alt.country outfits.

Molesto sounds like a DC comics supervillain.

I've been looking for a quality ringtone for, well, ever. I wanted "Turning Japanese" by The Vapors but I can't find it. Then I wanted "Fake Tales of San Francisco" by Arctic Monkey but can't find it.

And Crazy Frog would make me bash my phone to bits after the second ring.

Anyone know where to get a decent ringtone that doesn't cost $4 for a crappy clip of a song I can buy the complete version of for a buck at the iTunes store?

Secret Danish ringtones can make me even more irresistible than I am now? I'll have to check in with our office Dane and find out what the dealio is.

My ringtone is "Trans Europe Express" by Kraftwerk.

There was a link on MeFi once that let you send MIDI files to your phone for free, to use as ringtones. I used that to make "Linus & Lucy" (the cool piano tune from the Charlie Brown cartoons) my ringtone for my mom and my partner, and the Ms. Pac Man theme for phone calls from work.

I really want Lawyers, Guns & Money - it seems so appropriate for a ringtone somehow - but I can't find it anywhere. Which makes me respect Warren Zevon & his heirs even more, but still, I want that ringtone.

I have Yellow Ledbetter as a ring tone. It's fun because so many people reconnize it but can't remember the name "oh that's. uh what's it called? I know this."
