M.I.T.'s Digital Paintbrush. You need Windows Media Player to see this, I think. (warning: loud music)
That's pretty cool, but I'd like to see some actual artwork painted with it.

I thought "enh, it's a clone brush" until THE EYES! THE EYYYYYEEEES! AUUUUUGGGGHHHHH!

I don't actually get it. What surface does it appear on and why? Like a big touchscreen type thang?
And that music: *pulls hair out*!

HOW IT WORKS A camera and tactile sensors in the brush let a user touch an apple, say, and then “paint” on the screen using that color and texture. This project could lead to new software applications and tools for artists and graphic designers.

Thanks peacay. I made sure to turn the volume down. That was pretty cool, I think.

Sorry, I had my speakers turned off and didn't even realize there was sound. I'll add a warning to my post.

How it actually works.

Oh and thanks iconomy & cmonkey - I wouldn't have searched if you hadn't posted that link.
It's made of people!
So it's soylent paint?

I've only seen stills of that thing. I was underwhelmed. Animation and rotation sensing makes it much, much cooler.
