taz said something about there not being enough posts on the front page. Don't cry, taz!
You may not know this but today, Saturday, January 14, marks the beginning of International Make Taz Happy Week. This is the week that, traditionally, people all around the world do their very best to make taz happy in any way they can.
Gentle reader, how will you celebrate Make Taz Happy Week?
I have seen coyotes twice tonight, the last time was not a nice experience since they passed behind me without me knowing until the last one was passing. Note to self: Do not go into dark parking lots surrounded by soccer fields and woods at 3 in the morning.
I used to have an Amigo, which I named Taz.
It came with Taz mudflaps.
I wrecked Taz on a dark, sad night sunny Chicago day, and the only consolation was that nobody was injured and it cost me nothing except a suspended license. I still miss Taz.
True, I miss my dead dog more, but that doesn't diminish the missing.
That, that is just taunting the cosmos. Odds are 9/10 that you end up with a dog that loves to play in traffic - and a dog that dies doing what it loves.
Today, auspiciously, is my daughter's 23rd birthday as well as the start of Make Taz Happy Week. I bought her a lovely pink sweater with a floppy lace collar and yet she thinks that possibly it looks "too eighties." Would you like a lovely pink sweater too?
