OMG! Oh, wait, I bought all the Miyazakis already...

If y'all like Nausicaa, I HIGHLY recomend the seven part graphic novel. The film covers only the first two volumes, and the rest of the series turns progressively darker, a la Mononoke. It is truly the Lord of the Rings of Manga.

I just watched Mononoke for the first time a few nights ago, wasn't expecting all the decapitations.

Man, we saw "Spirited Away" in the theater when it came out, and I felt like I was on drugs the whole time. What a strange and awesome movie.

I didn't care quite as much for Mononoke, but Totoro is very cool.

Well, the site says that TCM will be showing both. So, yay!

Thanks for the heads up, amberglow. Does anyone know when Howl's Moving Castle comes out on dvd. (That I would definitely watch the dub for. Christian Bale makes the title character sound way sexier than he was probably designed to be)
