Tipping point So there's a federal election coming up here in the Frozen North, and an incumbent MP, [More:] Sam Bulte, is in the pocket of the entertainment industry, and taken an incredibly bad (for citizens and consumers) stand on digital rights issues. Furthermore, her party is on the outs with voters and the race in her riding was pretty close last election.

The nerds are organizing, and some people will vote with their iPods.

How awsome would it be if the Liberals lost a valuable seat due to a nerd-esque issue like digital rights legal policy?

"Very" is the answer, it would be very awsome indeed.
That's one thing that's bothered me this federal election. Especially for cases such as Bulte.

It's unfortunate that the conservatives are surging up the polls. My riding is pretty close between the Libs and the Con's.

It must be nice to have a choice, even though the same disturbing pattern as here of two dominant parties seems to be present up there as well.
