Much love to our Midnight Radio DJ's All the dj's, to be honest.→[More:]But especially to those who chose to fill the otherwise dead air during the quieter hours: thank you. As one whose work schedule is in direct conflict with MeCha's most popular hours of posting, irc comraderie and radio play, returning home from work in the early AM to find someone broadcasting is like finding a super secret second prize in the Cracker Jack box.

You guys are the best!

Just to give the other side of the coin some play: it's nice to come home after a shitty night at work (and let's face it, they're pretty much all shitty nights at work), throw some tunes out into the ether and have them find appreciative ears. On behalf of those playing late, thanks for listening.

I've only heard shows by bmarkey, boring, box, pup, matildaben, and dodgygeezer, and have thoroughly enjoyed all of them, and have discovered some great new music (hah I typed that as mucus the first time) because of it. So cheers to you guys...you all rock.

panoptician, early AM is past midnight, is deep night, is pre-dawn. I think that if you broke it out you'd see what I mean, especially given time zones.

Please don't put me in a position rescind a gracious thanks on the basis of specificity. Shoutout pettiness has squashed that kernel of fun with exceptional success and I'm close to reaching a firm resolve to never express appreciation or gratitude publicly again on MetaChat.

You are all adored. However, there's a small contingent of a larger contingent that makes my world a little better and brighter at just the right moments. If being amongst either or both groups is not enough for you, I truly have nothing to offer in response, little buddy.

Let me put it this way: we haven't had a single successful broadcast from a Mac yet.

If someone with a Mac, some technical chops and a bit of time on their hands wants to write up some advice on our wiki for other Mac users then I'd be happy to let them broadcast. And they'd make an old geezer very happy.
