Once many moons ago my father was mowing part of the lawn that had not been mowed in a few weeks. While doing so, he mowed over a bunny nest. Four little bunnies came hopping out. Bunnies tend to abandon nests after they have been disturbed so there was a good chance that said bunnies would not see momma bunnie again. They were very small and very easy to catch, so I caught them all and raised them in a little box in the bathroom. When they reached the size where they would occasionally slip out of the door and I would spend an hour or more trying to catch one, I decided it was time to let them go. I think they all survived because for a while I was seeing insane numbers of rabbits around. Fed them from an eyedropper, some sort of mixture a vet told me to feed them. I think honey and pet milk and something else. Not sure if that is even close to correct. Long time ago.
