OK, it's time to divvy up the plunder, mateys.

I scored twenty of the bunny pins after emailing the seller and begging for another quantity. The deal closed at $10 including shipping -- which is $0.50 each. I guess that I can mail these in a first class envelope (I'll confirm with the Post Orifice tomorrow) for $0.39

That means I can get them to Mechas for $1.00 each. Being me, I'm dibsing four. That leaves 2^4 (16) bunny pins up for grabs.

How to do this so I don't overpromise and leave somebody in the lurch and how to easily transfer the funds? I have a paypay account, so that's probably the easiest way to handle the geldt. Suggestions on how to let people request one that doesn't leave anybody in the lurch?

Are people comfortable with doing this in an open thread or do people want to do it by email? It's easier for me to just count down from sixteen to zero as each of you put your dibs in the thread. Would that be OK? Dissenting views (respecting privacy) can be emailed to me (address in profile) and I'll tally the dibs using the posting time to resolve any ties over the last ones.

After I confirm the minimum postage ('cause these things are lumpy in the envelope), I'll start a dibsies thread. Lucky bunnies will mail me a SASE with a dollar (we're trusting the Post Office here, but it's low risk since we're not mailing any coins) and that will be that. Nobody else needs to break cover or post any personal information. I'm not shy about posting my mailing address, since my non-de-meta is just a handle anyway and that will be that.

And don't fret that there won't be enough pins. I've been in touch with the wolesaler and I can get more at $0.35 each plus $3.50 S&H. All I need to know is how many we need.
