Can't grow any older in the grave.

Then in July 2004, two additional Es, an octave apart, were sounded and are scheduled to be released later this year on May 5.

I love this quote, but can't say I understand it.

My aunt was good friends with John Cage. She taught him how to play Rummikub. He liked Rummikub.

It takes a certain sustained understanding I guess. :)

On preview: and mushroom hunting.

My father, a composer, musicologist, and lifelong classical music DJ, is a great admirer of John Cage and is active on the John Cage mailing list.

Good Lord, that's silly.

I actually think that it's really cool, although also a bit silly. But, the way I look at it, someone has to explore the limits of music, and the more thoroughly the better. Time is certainly one of those limits, and as someone who grew up listening to hardcore "Play it faster.", and listens to fasst bluegrass now, playing something ultra-slow seems pretty cool.

The guys from Codeine mentioned how difficult it was to get drummers to play at their tempos. We should get Scharin over to eastern Germany for an eternity of slower than Codeine playing. Might be his idea of hell though. I for one would like to see it.

John Cage, dead as he is, limit-pushing as he may be, still makes undeniably silly music. I have spoken.
