The WikIdiot strikes again. →[More:]I wanted to add some people who don't have a member page yet. I added two already, but I never knowed out how to get them to show up in the User List.

How I do that?

I think that list is generated from people who have signed into the wiki.

I think it's generated from somewhere as well although I thought it was all metachatters at first, but it's too small a set to be that; thus, I agree with danostuporstar.

People get added to the user list when they login. It's not really a good idea to add user pages before they login because that can cause confusion.

Oh and if the people who haven't been able to log in to it are reading this then I have to apologise because it looks like I won't have it sorted for a couple of days yet. I've been rather busy lately, or too tired from being busy to do anything.

So people should start their own userpages? Or is there a way to see who's logged in on the wiki? Sorry for the stupid questions...this all seems second nature to everyone else.

Nevermind, dodgy...see, I am a wikidiot. You meant that when someone logs in they get added automatically to the user page. Geez.

Yeah that's right. If they haven't written anything on their user page it'll appear on the list in red - then you can dive in for some wikidiocy.

Well I cannot login and I'm sure that dodgy has better things to do than fix that in any hurry AND I'm not even sure how I feel about the internet in general, let alone wikis (alltogether too don ho-ish for me) BUT if someone could change my user page so that it says really almost anything rather than what it says now I sure would be mighty obliged, 'specifically (and I truly find good old jonmc to be a swell cat and a good friend) if I could not be defined more or less by the fact that I live in BK, drink with Jon and once called someone about a cheesehorn, that would be awesome, it's chafing at me as a matter of fact, something severe. If anyone could just change it so it says that I am a total asshole or a stupid ugly cuntful of cold piss or something that would be fine.

Weird, I logged in and all of a sudden I had a user page (created by EE, and apparently "belched" in wiki-terms; meaning I hadn't logged on to actually create the page?).

i feel a probably misplaced proprietory lioness like fierce maternal feeling about our island in this digital sea
so i have these motherly inclinations not unlike when one uses their own spit to clean up a kid's face when.
i hope no one minds my efforts for a best foot forward approach and people will give me a heads up if they think i have strayed from anything fitting or true i may say or do.
