Asking Mecha: My Name is Earl So, this is being heavily advertised on UK TV at the moment, it looks good, but I haven't heard anything about it. My Question is... Is this worth TiVo'ing and watching. I trust you guys. Is the show any Good.

I'll be interested to see what everyone else thinks. It's got a very Coen Brothers flavor to it. In particular, it reminds me of Raising Arizona.

We also love it. Its funny, but not in a sitcom sort of way. More in a surreal sort of way.

I just wish they would stop scheduling it against other shows I like. My Tivo can only do so much at one time!

I've only seen it a few times, but it's pretty funny. And the broad comedy is laced with plenty of honest sentiment. Worth a watch.

I can sit through it, it's not cringily bad in the way that, say, "Two And A Half Men" is, but it's not all ArrDev, either.

The previews for it really turned me off. I don't know why. I've heard people say they really like it. It seems to be a bit on the sureal (??) side, which I hate.
