anubis markets, wozzeck ducks, [More:]nabisco murder biscuits, oysters bicycles coat hangers, ka spuck, Ailurus fulgens fulgens, digital banana, "a skillet at it", define:nugatory, "not the * of the horse"

(Ten of the more head-scratching things [among those I'll admit to] in my cached list of google searches.)
I've got "how make peeps fight in microwave" "zombie porn" (think there's going to be an interesting mother/son talk there) "do big lions purr" "dog pee on carpets" and, hmmm, "wooden doughnut flakes." Among a zillion other more immediately explicable entries.

Isn't it interesting how that which is incredible to one person can be so mundane to another?

My dad was telling my (three-year old) nephew about the cars he's had through the years, and mentioned the tan 1974 Ford Maverick he drive while my brother and I were kids. Vinyl seats, AM radio, hand-cranked windows; the Maverick had it all.

My nephew wanted to take a look at a Maverick, so he took my dad up to the computer, saying, "We can do a Google image search."

From my father's lap, he navigated: "You should put 'maverick new' as your search string."

So what if there's no such thing.

(As it turns out, there's some kind of Europe-only SUV called the Maverick, but that doesn't count right now).

Anyway, I thought that was incredible, but it's probably pretty mundane.
