The "Shout It Out Loud," in this set bears absolutely zero resemblance to the Kiss classic, although "She," is the same one we all know. You can hear the beginnings of the Kiss sound but you can also hear Gene & Paul (Ace & Pete had yet to arrive) trying to find their sound. "Long Long Road," is a charmingly fumbling attempt at The Band-style country rock. Other songs show them lingering in Beatles/Wings territory. Stephen Stills (!) apparently plays on one track.
