#1 On My Playcount Bill Withers - Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone

What's #1 on yours? Care to share it? And yes, this is a blatant attempt to add some high quality tunes to my collection. And yours. But yeah, mostly mine.
Dictators - Who Will Save Rock & Roll?

(jeez, I'm predictable aren't I?)

Playcount?

Last.fm says it's "Untitled" by Sturm, but that doesn't work, because all of Sturm's songs are called "Untitled".

Yeah, I couldn't figure out how to get that info from last.fm; all they gave me was the artist. So I picked my favorite song and here it is for you. Drivin' and Cryin', Straight to Hell, with thanks to Goatdog, who made the cd and mailed it to me the old fashioned way.

Here's my chart.

My number one track is Somebody's Going To Get Their Head Kicked In Tonight - The Rezillos. That's mostly because I keep playing it in my radio sets.

The top track that I've hardly played on the radio sets is Loudon Wainwright III - Little Ship. A very simple song but then many of the best are.

Here's my chart, and the second most played song, This Year - The Mountain Goats.

10 A.M Automatic, by The Black Keys. More available here.

iTunes says it's Low - Monkey, and last.fm says it's Stina Nordenstam - Get On With Your Life.

I don't keep track of these thing very well (don't actually listen to music on the computer much), but I'm pretty sure it was Smog - Let Me See the Colts, followed closely by Fake's album, You Are Not Dead (samples).

Modest Mouse - Gravity Rides Everything

Mygoth, according to last.fm, your top track is "Bad Company - Feel Like Makin' Love"!!!!!!!

Excellent choice, fenriq, that's been a fave of mine for along looong time!

I wanted to share one via YSI with mechas but I'm clueless. In poking around on the YSI site, "applications have been temporarily suspended", and it looks like I can only send via an email addy. Am I nuts?

According to iTunes, it's Neko Case - Favorite, which is only appropriate.

Try it again, chewatadistance. It was slow, but I was able to get it to upload.

my most played on my itunes is : Let Love Speak up Itself/Beautiful South

my most played on my ipod is : Waiting for the Siren's Call/New Order

google yousendit and use their cache--it works.

chew, just put in your own email addy. It will provide a link when it's done uploading, and you can post that link here. (unless I'm misunderstanding the problem you're having with it.)

Mine is Daniel Johnston - True Love Will Find You in the End, although last.fm seems to have stopped tracking my listening habits.

chew, just put in your own email addy.

I just leave that field blank. The URL will appear on the "done" page for you to cut and paste.

I know taz - I finally figured it out, through the clouds of hangover. It's because I keep all the yousendit music in one big folder called miscellaneous and play that all the time; it's like permanent radio mecha. :-) And, actually I do like that song too. Although my latent coolness is embarrassed by it.

#1 in Itunes is this vaguely eastern european/ polish folk rock thing called Taniec Chasidyzki (which i reckon means Hasidic Dance). I have no idea where I got it from, but the melody is very light and happy. Which is why I listen to it so often, I guess.

In iTunes, #1 is Of Montreal - Will You Come and Fetch Me with a playcount of 85(!). On my last.fm it is Chris and Thomas - Take These Thoughts, which I cannot ysi because I bought it from the iTunes store and its DRM'ed all to hell.

MGL..I haven't thought of Drivin' and Cryin' since I saw them play in the 80s. I think they opened for REM.

And brainwidth, The Black Keys are mr. rossi's favorite.

goatdog, can you upload yours again? I'm getting a "File Transfer: Unavailable", so I guess it's exceeded the download limit.

Also, the link for jonmc's file times out for me...
