30 December 2005

This morning, I would like to smell like a hint of a best beloved's cologne, a touch of campfire and sea water after an extended romp of nightswimming.

How 'bout you?
I'd like to smell like s'mores, old comforters and a night next to the pond. But sadly I'm in PWM, working.

I don't like to smell of anything, but if I have to choose I'd choose girl hair.

Burnt chronic.

I would like to smell like freshly cut grass that I had been lying on, reading a book in a sunny corner of my grandparents' garden.

When you go outside near where your dryer duct is, and the scent of steamy, clean laundry is coming out of the vent. Mmmmm.

Bush-free girl hair. But iconomy's is pretty good.

I would like to smell like woodsmoke, moss, breakfast, and a little boy sweat.

Suntan oil. I know its bad for you but I love that smell...and it means I'm on a beach or by a pool.

What do people who have so much money they don't have to work, ever, smell like? Because I'd like to smell like them.

If not that, then the new Vera Wang perfume. It's lovely.

I'd like to smell of peanut butter and hope.

Vanilla.

Pure Vanilla.

I'm not convinced, but I have a hunch that world peace could be achieved if the whole world just smelled like pure vanilla.

dios, I think you are completely right.
Whenever I wear vanilla oil, as I am wont to do in the colder months, everyone becomes cheerful around me.

I think it is because they secretly hope my purse is full of cookies and rice krispie treats, and hope I will share.

I have also read that it is an aphrodisiac.

GodCorp agrees, dios.

Napalm. In the morning. Fresh - and not that cheap-ass foreign knock-off shite, either. Homemade napalm from scratch, just like mother used to make. In the goddamn morning. Hoowaa!

Snakes! On a plane! In the morning!

Oh man, the second worse smell I've ever smelled was snake shit. Oh it was bad. Reeeeel bad.

I had a 7-foot burmese python take shit on my arm while I was helping my herpetologist friend move her so we could clean her enclosure. I think it was a defense mechanism.

It kinda stung, and was of a strange consistency.

Chicken shit's my least fave, tho'.

The snake that pooped on me was a plain old garter snake, and what came out of it's snaky ass was so much worse than chicken poop. Euch!
posted by Specklet 30 December | 16:01
Snakes have asses? You learn something new every day.

I would like to smell like a freshly opened video game. With perhaps a hint of malice.
posted by haqspan 30 December | 16:15
Chicken shit's my least fave because I once worked on a chicken farm, walking through in the morning and collecting the wounded and dying chickens from overnight (they would injure themselves on the feeder lines and peck each other to death) and disposing of them. After delivering mercy to the goners.

Oh, god, when I think about it my karma shudders.

fresh-bread smell of sleeping in, champagne mimosa, new clothes, brewed coffee, and the remnants of whatever my date happened to put on to dazzle me with.

Bush-free girl hair

I'm confused by this statement. Is it anti-administration or pro-brazilian wax?
