I didn't freeze to death!

I'm not as hungover as I probably should be!

Neither am I!

My poor roommate has been sick for ages. His mom happens to be a doctor, he happens to have no insurance. She took one look at his throat when she saw he couldn't even manage to swallow a roll at dinner and said "my god, strep!" and wrote him a script for a very cheap antibiotic.
So soon he will be feeling better!

But I am torn. I was going to go out shopping in a bit. To wake him so I could pick it up for him, or let him sleep since he is sick (and has been sleeping for eleven hours so far)

The skit my aunt made us do at the Christmas Eve party was worse than last year's skit! (every year she picks a skit about how nobody cares about Jesus anymore, and all the cousins have to read it- this year, I was Mary and cousin Jeff was Joseph. Always very bizarre)

Another miracle is that I was at the mall today, when I went to see my Mom at work and she said Dad called and couldn't find Twinkie, my dog. So she gave me her car while I rushed home with visions of tragedy in my head (she got into the garage and run over by the car! she chewed on a power cord! she got her eyes scratched out by the cat and is bleeding to death somewhere). By the time I got home, my Dad had found her- turns out, she was just sleeping on a chair and he didn't see her when he walked by (she's very quiet when sleeping).
