Russian Cannibal Sentenced to 14 Years in Prison for Cooking Friend. It's not the story so much as the stock photo they used. Makes the NY Post look staid.

It could've been worse. They could've used something appropriate to the season like a packet of sage and onion stuffing.

I laughed pretty hard too. I actually fell out of my chair. It's an easy thing to do in this chair. That's some funny meat. Very much MosNews.com's style. For whatever reason, a photo must accompany every story.

BBC News online has the same policy, and until a couple of years ago was prone to similarly bizarre juxtapositions. I haven't seen a ridiculous one in a long time, though.

That's not a stock photo - you'd have to boil that piece of meat in salted water for a few hours to get stock out of it.
