One of my oldest friends and I have a Christmas tradition where we get drunk and call each other up (we never live in the same town, that's how come we're still friends) and sing this song to each other on the phone like a duet. On St. Patrick's day we do Thousands Are Sailing.
I don't even need to look to see what song it is. It's also one of my holiday faves. It's somehwere between Stevie Wonder's "One Little Christmas Tree" and the Barking Dogs thought provoking take on "Jingle Bells.
Ah yes, the finest Christmas song ever. Thanks Kelly, for some reason this is absent from my collection.
And I don't know if folk over there know Slade's Merry Christmas Everybody, but it's a bit of a classic over here. If anything it might be a little over-played. Anyway, I posted it for the benefit of the shouting thread because of it's exemplary xmas shouting and I guess I may as well share it here too.
