I know the love has been flowing freely around here lately But for reals, I've been listening to MeCha mixes all day, as well as random tracks that everybody has shared, and y'all rock. So many new artists for me, and lots of songs that I had completely forgotten about. Happy times! Thanks everybody.

Honestly, I'm not a mushy person. Y'all bring it out in me, though. Which is good. Someone/something needs to.

I have a similar thanks to give MeCha, but for books. The book club discussion has made me revisit Babbitt, and Crying of Lot 49, and added quite a bit of other reading (including Cloud Atlas, of course) to my list. And although it actually started on MeFi and I think MeTa, jonmc's championing of Richard Price made me check out his work, (I'm through Wanderers, Ladies' Man, and Blood Brothers and working on Samaritan now). So thanks MeCha, sleep is overrated anyway.

I'm usually not much for the touchy-feely stuff, but since I'm still in a post-eagle state of awe I will say that y'all rock on just about a daily basis.

Ditto. You all have really helped me to expand my music collection and turned me on to all sorts of things I never would have found on my own.
