a friend of mine made an ornament of a tampon soaked in watercolor water.
another friend asked where she got it.
"I made it. It just came out that way."
pause.
"Of your pussy?"
...
we were of course all baked at the time

No menstrual mandalas? One of my hippie artist friends used to make them - fold up your cloth in a number of different creative ways, insert & lo & behold, art! Seriously. I kid you not. Tie dye taken to the ultimate logical extreme.
