Not too bad considering. The fact I am on meds kicks in here ;-)
Tree's up. Most shopping done. Son comes home Wednesday nite, I'll take him shopping, cookies will be made, too much food will be eaten, everyone in my family will get along (really) and for once Christmas won't be plagued with money problems.
Green—You’re feeling calm, cool, and collected, but not so warm and fuzzy this year. You’re in a bit of a holiday rut and may have forgotten just how joyous the season can be. How can you recapture it? See what other greens are doing. Or check out the best of the new holiday music to liven your spirit.
I'd be feeling one helluvalot more warm and fuzzy if I had a job and thus could pay for these holiday gifts I'm buying & making.
Why is red the lowest stress level? That doesn't make any sense. In any case, I'm looking forward to the holidays. Although we did some baking yesterday, and that may be the sugar coma talking.
0. I haven't done any shopping, I haven't made any cards, and I'm on my way to Aruba. Fuck the holidays, I'm actually going to enjoy this one! I'll worry about mailing people stuff when I get back.
They always say, when taking multiple choice tests, to choose the answer closest to what you think. For about five of those questions, none of them even came close -- they've got all the wrong reasons. Forget it. Why can't they come up with less specific gripes to underlie every answer? Even the positive answers had negative reasons.
I scored an 8, but would have given myself about a 0. I don't really stress at the holidays. I love Christmas and find all this stuff fun. Unfortunately, Christmas day itself is pretty stressful. It goes like this:
7:00-wake up, open presents with the kid
9:00 Breakfast at my mom's
11:00 Back to our house where I make brunch for the in-laws
1:00 Drive an hour into the city for dinner with my grandparents/aunts&uncles/cousins
5:00 Drive 1.5 hours to hubby's aunt's house for dinner #2.
9:00 Put the cranky kid to bed
10:00 Exchange presents with the hubby.
It really sucks. The problem is, I enjoy my family and don't want to cut out seeing them and my in-laws demand parity. Hence, two of everything.
Absolutely no holiday stress since, well, it's just completely not applicable. My only concession this year is to spend an afternoon cooking with my dad.
16 here. But I'm not particularly stressed about holiday stuff. The only stressful thing will be making sure my dog and my sister's dog don't kill each other. (I'm watching her dog for a week. Our dogs get along fine but they definitely have about a three day limit...then they start getting sick of each other and fighting)
27--Black—Your motto this holiday season is “Bah humbug!” You’ve got the holiday blues, and it’s bringing your spirit down. Commiserate with others who feel the same ...
17/blue. I'm surprised it came out that bad. It might be because I just got home after six hours of shopping. My feet are killing me and I'm starving and I'm not done yet.
