I want a lollipop shaped like Santa's boot. →[More:]You know, those cheap ones in various Christmas shapes that used to come in my stocking. No one in my family has been able to find them and we're bummed. What's your odd/hard to find seasonal craving?

Those are barley pops! I used to love them. If you google barley pops you can probably find some online.

If you can't find any, I'll be glad to send you some...consider it a Christmas present. I live a block away from a candy shop that makes their own, and they're fabulous. They come in the clear pale yellow, the clear green, and the clear red. They make all kinds of traditional Christmas ones.

Here are some, and here too, but both are out of stock. Hmmm maybe they aren't as easy to find as I thought, but I know that the candy store near me has them, because I was just there about 3 hours ago!

Oh this place has barley pops and an ultra gorgeous barley reindeer that's way too pretty to eat.

That's really nice of you, iconomy. I think I should be able to find them now that I know what I'm looking for. We've got a great PA Dutch candy store up here (Derstines) that should carry them or at least tell me where to go. Thank you!
