I watched SVU on DVD once- 3 or 4 hours a night, several nights in a row. I had the *worst* nightmares those nights.

So YOU'RE the audience that keeps that crap on! I love L&O because the situations are realistic, the ethical questions are challenging and the outcomes are unpredictable.

CI is all "look at me, I'm Columbo without the humility. Why do I even have a partner? I'm the greatest detective evar!" Bleh.

I think after this season it will just be Noth on CI. So no more pseudo-Columbo if he ain't your thing.

Oh yeah, and more props to Benson & Stabler. And to Jack McCoy and the rest of the L&O crew. They're all leagues above CSI :)
/needs to learn the difference between real and pretend.

Oh i hadnt heard that Vincent D'Ofrio was leaving CI next season. I admit, i have a soft spot for him too!! Not too big of a Noth fan - too brusque for my liking!

Love, love, love SVU. It is clearly the superior L&O. I have to admit I am D'Onofrio fan. He just makes me...tingly.

I can't stand Criminal Intent but I like the other two. I cut back on TV this fall so I only watch SVU now.
