These shoes... boy shoes or girl shoes?[More:]

Guys, would you wear these shoes? Girls, would you walk down the street with a guy wearing these shoes?

(They're "women's shoes" according to the manufacturer, but they're my fave brand of shoe and I like to buy the used ones whenever I see them as new they're a fortune... but I can't decide if these ones is too femNin. Thoughts?)
Girls, would you walk down the street with a guy wearing these shoes?

Sure. My husband was wearing a pair really similar to those the day I met him.

I wouldn't exactly call them feminine. They might be a lot of things but feminine ain't one of them.

(Not my style so forgive me. I can see why people would love them though!)

I think they're cute; if a guy wore them, I'd be impressed with his good taste. I saaay, buy them!

You need to scroll down and take the gender identity test. If you're androgynous, than those shoes are fine. ;-)

Actually they look more like boy shoes to me and I'd say they're totally not too feminine, and, they rock.

I think they look like stylish boy shoes. I'd be impressed.

Boy shoes, totally. If a girl wore them, I'd think she was a lesbian.

I'd wear 'em. But I'd also wear these.

cool guy shoes, but the cut away near the back makes them ever so feminine. in a nice way.

(and. i hate it when you're in a shop, like hennes, where the innie and outie clothes aren't clearly separated. i wonder across without noticing too often. and. when you love something, but can't tell who it's for.)

I thought they were very stylish men's shoes. I like guys who pay attention to their shoes, especially if they do something a bit different.

The shoes are fugly as hell and definitely guy-ish.

I mean fugly in a good way.

Hmm. Okay, that's what I thought. One shoe store has them in the men's section and all other sites I checked, including the manufacturer, says women's, which didn't make much sense to me.

I'll try and buy 'em. I have two pairs of Cydwoqs already and they're the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I hardly ever see the men's used, though.

Thanks!

Clown shoes. For a boy clown.

Those are, like, the ugliest shoes ever.

Regardless of who wears them.

I'd wear them in a heartbeat, however, a full third of my shoes are men's. I'd definitely like them on a guy, though.

Ditto what Fris said.

P.S. I'm jealous of your Cydwoqs. I cain't afford none a them.

hippie boy shoes.

I'll side with the ladies as I trust their opinions more on shoe matters. :)

Anyway, they're mine. Auction's over.

They look a little narrow in the middle. Might not be comfortable for guys with big lunky feet.

I've seen guy shoes that are very similar in style, though.

We need pictures of them on your feet, dobbs. :^)

Bowling shoes.

My God, I love bowling shoes.
posted by Frisbee Girl 15 December | 15:21
Me too. I even have a pair of Campers that are supposed to look like bowling shoes. I know, I'm a poser.

A bowler poser.

I thought they were elf shoes but the toes aren't pointy. So I'm not sure what to think.

They don't look like bowling shoes! :)

I know because I'm wearing bowling shoes right now. They're my slippers. The numbers wore off the back but you can still see the 8 outlined in stitch.

Specklet, do you like your campers? I bought a pair of Camper sandals and they were super uncomfortable and broke relatively fast. I swore off them after that.

The most fucked up shoes I own are a pair of skateboarder shoes made out of ... I dunno what it is, but it's the same thing that's on yellow tennis balls. The shoes look like giant yellow tennis balls. I've had them for 10 years or so and never worn them though I keep threatening to.

I also used to have a great pair of red converse chuck taylors made of burlap. God I miss those shoes.

I have three or four pairs of Campers and I like 'em. (None are sandals.) Haven't worn out yet, and I've had them all for about four years. ...Mostly, thought, I wear Earth shoes and Bjorn clogs in various styles and colors. And my Harley boots. You'd have to pry those from my cold, dead fingers.

Clown shoes. For a boy clown.
Definitely. Those are 100% Ronald McDonald shoes.

In louder colors, though.
