Are you a Vampire, Melvin Laird? Another thread where I ask you for music. Bad me!
But it's good music, and for a good reason.

What I'd like is Ed Sanders' Truckstop and Wildman Fisher's An Evening With Wildman Fisher. →[More:]

My father used to own both of these albums; one was stolen and the other was lost. I'd like to replace them for Christmas, and they're both out-of-print as far as I know.
Gemm's only seller for Truckstop lists the quality as "very poor" and wants $186 for it.

Any hope for sharities from you folks?

I just queued up for Truckstop. I found it on Soulseek, and I'm 146th in line to download files from the person who has the album. So if you can wait until tomorrow or the next day, I can probably send you the album and the cover art work, unless you get them from someone else first.

Dennis Eichhorn writes into the Tapes site for Wildman Fischer, and talks a little about the comix and the tampon... (It's the only result for "wildman fischer"+tampon)

Grrr...the guy I was downloading Truckstop from banned me after I got the first 4 songs. What an ass.

This is a personal peeve of mine. Right now I have some random dude downloading 87 songs from me - all Christmas stuff. I have no problem with it, because that's what the songs are in my file for...for sharing. Some people have a hard time grasping this concept, and ban anyone who tried to download more than one or two songs from them.

Fargin' ass.
