I don't watch too much Family Guy so I can't comment on the plagiarism issue but I will say that I tried to watch The Simpsons tonight and had to turn it off five minutes in because the lack of anything remotely funny or clever was depressing me.

yup--Family Guy has done stuff against Simpsons, too. It was bad tonight tho--they're phoning it in. What did it say about American Dad in that book?

That bit was pretty funny. Especially because I don't like the Family Guy. (Yes, I've watched. Yes, I've given it a chance. No, I don't find it funny in the least.)

American Dad was something like Plagarismo Plagarismo.

And yup tonight was a new low point. Wow it sucked. It was almost like it was done just to see how much crap people will put up with.

Hey thanks, Eideteker. Now I have ammunition against all the people that just can't believe I don't love the Family Guy.

Recap of the bit, in brief: Italian officials are flipping through a list of wanted criminals to see if Sideshow Bob is wanted for anything. One of the pages they flip past is a picture of Peter Griffin labeled with the crime Plagarismo.

still do, sort of. after the 04 debacle, they had a fox news van roll into a shot with a picture of w. on it, playing 'we are the champions.'

Well, yeah, Eideteker. Futurama was awesome and I miss it too. Still, I think it went out on a good note, and I'm actually glad it was canceled before it had a chance to become the unfunny, self-referential, drooling-over-its-weekly-guest-stars, 500-pound gorilla that the Simpsons has become.
