Freakin' awesome! Buck Owens is cool beyond words. Almost made having to stay the night in Bakersfield bearable.

My favorie Owens story, which I forget significant details to (embellished, of course): Back when he was a young Buck and just starting out he was on tour with X (a detail I forget). They toured America with Buck and his band opening up.

While on the road, one of Buck's singles breaks and is a huge hit.

They're coming into Buck's hometown to play for the night. He asks X if, for just this one night, he can headline and X can open. X laughs in Buck's face.

Buck and the Bucaneers take the stage... and play X's entire set from top to bottom. X is now fucked as he doesn't have a set.

Can anyone verify this story or name who X is?
