Yep, it's a gorgeous summer Saturday afternoon here in Oz, and I've spent since 7am riding 20-30km of single-track at Lysterfield Park (PDF), site of the 2006 Commonwealth Games mountain bike course. Where, in fact, they were today holding some sort of qualification trials.
I then (after a lovely Vietnamese-style vegi noodle stir-fry cooked by one of my co-nutters) spent the rest of the afternoon watching "Touching the Void" and drinking many, many beers.
I have recently arrived back at R.Q.E. mansion, have scarfed an additional half-beer plus a couple of pipes of Saint Mary Jane's finest, and have only this to add:

I am sober now... but I almost responded to this last night. Had to hold off, I kept falling out of my computer chair.
Yeah, one of those nights.
(so, like, if I talked to someone for a long time last night, and he emailed me like as soon as he got home just to say he had fun talking to me, that's a good thing, right?)
