Aw gee schucks, all. I took the day off and the office just called, with everyone (including neighboring offices) singing that familiar birthday song on speakerphone, which actually really touched me. I've made my b-day omelet, will have bad Mexican for lunch, and will stroll through this place to while away the daylight hours. Then, dinner in a mystery place and afters at the local hookah joint. It's all really fabulous, and I'm really thankful.

w00t! It's now over (sorta- was born at 7:23pm and could keep the party rolling into tomorrow) but it was wonderful, sweet and I'm now half-drunk and completely exhausted. Thanks Mechas for your a truly delectable birthday thread! You mutually rule!
