Help a feller out! I downloaded the Golden Palomino's Visions of Excess from eMusic (legit!), but the mp3 of "Boy (Go)" gets cut off a minute or so early. Anyone got it? Can't find it on, uh, that other legitimate download service I use.
kenko, I have it. Gimme a couple minutes.

Awesome, fris.

Shouldn't you be on IRC? (Answer: yes.)

Limited bandwidth, my dear. Would you rather I chat or download coveted tunes?

Hmm...

Well, I expect to see you there presently the file is sent!

I had this album on vinyl in the early 80's. I'd kind of forgotten about it so thanks for reminding me.

matildaben, I have both discs of GP's 'a history'. Let me know if you want any tracks and I'll shoot them over to you.

I'm titling and captioning a bunch of photos. I'll try to get over there when I'm done. No promises.

Please email emusic about this so they can fix the track for everyone else. They've fixed tracks for me in the past.

Man, what a great album. This is one of those "Soundtracks to my Youth" things where my parents were big into GoPals and so it just triggers lots of nostolgia. Great stuff too. I wish the Histories were more complete, but what can you do? I've still got the albums around here somewhere on vinyl.
(The GoPals were the first place I heard about Syd Straw, Matthew Sweet, Arto Lindsay, John Zorn, Bill Laswell, Lori Carson... I still have a cd of Carson's demo that she burned for me around here somewhere. It's really good, and -in my humble- better than the produced album...)
