If you ate Metachat as a sandwich, what sort of bread(s) would you put it on?[More:]
How perculiar, i was thinking about sandwiches on my walk home tonight. I decided i would get rid of bread altogether and have something like a meat-pocket(tm) to store the filling in.

i'll put you down as sans bread, urbanwhaleshark.

is 'meat-pocket' really trademarked?

Sourdough. Cos mecha is sour? and doughy?

No, no! cinnamon and raisin bread cos MeCha is yumptious.

I think it would be pumpernickle, because pumpernickel makes yummy sammiches. Especially when you toast it - it's warm and crunchy.

Oh, and I do not know how to spell pimpernackel.

Russian or marbled rye, with lots of melted cheese, please! And horseradish or a good spicy mustard and...I think I need to go make lunch.

uncooked pumpernickel looks disturbingly fecal.

Sourdough.

I love bread of all sorts. Brown raisin bread. Rye. Flat bread. Pita. Cracked and sprouted 12 whole grains Spelt. Whole wheat. Raisin bread. Even that mushy white stuff.

But a really good sourdough is king in my book. Nothing else tastes quite so good toasted with a little butter on it. It can be chewy and moist, or you can toast it just a little for some warmth, or you can toast it severely until it's crouton-crunchy. You can grill it. You can eat it as toast or as a sandwich. It lends a nice tang to a plain Peanut butter and honey or jelly.

Sourdough. Sourdough. Sourdough.

As with so many other things, I'm with Frisbee. Rye. I don't know why, but I like the rye. For metachat. Besides if you leave rye alone long enough you might get lucky and it will grow ergot which will lead to you painting things like this. ≡ Click to see image ≡
