moral of the story: putting ads everywhere won't help the uptime?

(and that sucks, I thought mefi was getting a decent steady income on the ads now. yaknow the kind of income that leases super-servers with lots of processors, or pays for several days of re-coding bad bits, or buys cookies or whatever the hell it is mefi needs.....But everyone tells me that ads dont bring in nearly as much as one would think.)
