Intoxicate me now. Those kids from Nickel Creek ham it up at the House of Blues by doing an acoustic version of Britney's "Toxic."
Oh, my God, is that funny! Thanks for sharing.

What is it Britney and the Metaphors she uses for love. "Hit me Baby" references S&M; "You drive me crazy" speaks of insanity; Toxic is obviously about drug use.

And that's not even including that song which I was sure was about an abortion (Can't remember what it was, but I was sure. So sure.) and the video with the suicide.

She should take her rightful place at the head of the table as the Goth Pop Princess.

Some of you were probably just thinking, "I wish I had a cover of Oops! I Did It Again by a Finnish metal band." I gotta say, Martin and Rami write some strong pop songs; I've got a lot of respect for a simple but catchy tune that can work whether it's done by Britney, Richard Thompson, or Children of Bodom.

I know that's what I was thinking. And Seanyboy, I always got the impression the metaphor in Toxic is cigarettes.

I just always thought she was trying to poison her new beau. (what, am I the only one who's watched the video?)
