metachat: Failed Projects. Really, this is all about me and me, and look at me, but what failed projects have y'all started, and then got bored with, and then wish you'd carried through so you could post it on projects so the hordes could click "+" and "+" and "+"

i didn't get the photoassociation laser power stabilized last spring. now the AC stark shifts are probably wreaking hell with the PA experiment.

Yeah, with NaNoWriMo, I forgot to write on 1 Nov., and then I was already 1667 words behind on 2 Nov, so just gave up.

I did want to build a giant orbiting bear out of bricks and mount a laser between his hind legs, but I've put that sort of foolishness behind me.

When I decide on a cotton umbrella versus a cotton-candy umbrella, I'll let you know.

myFFL is a failed fantasy football manager. It's successful enough, though, as a screen scraper for nfl.com that then feeds the stats to other folks' projects. 'Successful enough' meaning there's no way I could handle the additional traffic of posting it projects.mefi.
