Interesting mystery music site. A collection of (rare?) 60s and 70s psychedelic, beat, progressive (&tc.) albums, with images and ratings, separated by country (or sometimes region). I have no idea who put it up, or why, but I'm finding it fascinating, and all I know is that now I have to find this "Four Levels of Existence" Greek band that I've never heard of (info - ignore the spam link at the bottom).

I didn't find any, dhruva, sadly - because I'd like to check out a whole bunch of these.

Lovely stuff!

The only bands that I immediately recognised were Q65 and The Outsiders (who were led by Wally Tax, surely one of the best names in rock). I was also expecting to see Aphrodite's Child under Greece since they're about the only Greek band I can name but no sign.

There's something wonderful about European psych. Psych lyrics tend to be strange enough without them being written by someone for whom English is a second language and then sung by someone who's pretty new to English themselves. But putting that to one side, many of the European bands were just more "out there" than the American or UK bands.

Now this has reminded me I need to get CQ (pronounced "psycho") by The Outsiders...

Indeed. Leader of The Outsiders, probably the best band from a non-english speaking country in the 60's. Imagine a somewhat less frenetic Stones.
