Would someone... please go to Flickr and tell me if they can see pictures? All I see is that little red x in the corner of where my picture would be.

All. I can see pictures on other websites and normally have no problem with Flickr on this computer (work). I can't see mine, contacts or anyone else.

I deleted cookies and temporary internet files but no luck.

That's the extent of my computer wizardry. (Read none).

Are you using firefox? Check your blocked cookies list. Mine sometimes glitches and blocks a site's cookies instead of just dumping them. I'm not sure what causes it, and I can't reproduce it with any regularity. So *shrugs*. But check your blocked cookies file.

Aarrgh. After messing around for some time...I want to see pictures dammit!...I finally clicked on something and the big corporate logo popped up with the standard "blocked site" warning and how this site does not relate to standard work activity.

Funny, cause I was just on yesterday and my computer was whirring a lot yesterday. Hrmmmph.

I figured that part out, lola. I was just hoping you would post your flickr url to save me some investigative work of going to MeFi since your blog isn't in your MeCha profile. ;) I remember seeing it in your MeFi profile when you made your plea for a meetup.

(ends up the FLickr URL isn't on your blog either. oh well!)

Any chance you can come up with a good reason to have Flickr unblocked?

Nah. I doubt it. I suppose they just do sweeps from time to time and Flickr's number was up.

I talked to my co-workers about it in our office where web surfing is common and one of my co-workers tried one time to no avail.

The page that comes up says..."if you believe this page was blocked in error AND you can show that it is needed for legitimate work purposes, please call..."

I strongly considered it but I don't really need to raise anymore flags about my web habits!
